Crowley kidnaps Ben and Lisa in order to keep Dean from stopping the hunt for Purgatory.

Balthazar dislikes Castiel's soul plan and teams up with the brothers to find Ben and Lisa.

Dean finds them, only to face off with a possessed Lisa who stabs herself.

Castiel saves Lisa. Dean also asks if Castiel can erase both her and Ben's memories of him.

In the meanwhile, everyone finds out that horror writer, H.P. Lovecraft, discovered a way to open the door into Purgatory. Bobby races against Castiel for information and learns his friend Dr. Visyak was the creature that came out when Lovecraft opened the door.
