On The Bachelor Season 21 Episode 1, Nick Viall meets 30 beautiful bachelorettes, each really wanting his attention and the coveted first-impression rose. But only one ends up with it.

Nick is out to find love after his failed attempts on two seasons of The Bachelorette and one season of Bachelor in Paradise. ABC starts off his new journey by recapping his time with the franchise and bringing in former Bachelors Chris Soules, Ben Higgins and Sean Lowe to give him advice.

A variety of different women are introduced, and a few stood out, including Liz, Vanessa, Alexis, Rachel and Corinne. Liz met Nick at fellow Bachelor in Paradise alums Jade and Tanner's wedding and the two went home together. Nick does not think she is there for the right reasons because she could have gotten his number from Jade without going on the show.

Corinne is the first one to go for a kiss, and as a result, gets a target on her back from the other girls. She is set up to be the villain of the season. Alexis dresses up in a shark costume that she thinks is a dolphin, which gets her a lot of attention from Nick and the other girls. While Vanessa seems to catch Nick's attention the most when she comes out of the limo, the first-impression rose goes to Rachel.
