After taking a week off for the Fourth of July, The Bachelorette is back and down to only six contestants left to compete for Rachel's heart. They travel to Geneva, Switzerland, and Rachel announces that instead of a formal rose ceremony, she is going to go on three one-on-one dates and one three-on-one date. The roses will be handed out during the dates.

Bryan gets the first one-on-one date, which upsets the other guys. Rachel has spent a lot of time with Bryan during the show, and it's not a surprise that they have another great date (filled with making out) and he gets a rose, which secures his spot for a hometown date next week. 

Dean gets the second one-on-one date. Rachel takes him around the city and even to church. Dean first struggles to open up to Rachel about his dysfunctional family, but eventually does and gets a rose.

Peter goes on the final one-on-one date. They travel in a helicopter to the Swiss Alps for dog-sledding. Peter admits to feeling some doubts about this process and the show, but not enough for Rachel to deny him a rose.

On the three-on-one date, Eric, Adam and Matt go on a boat to France. Eric gets the rose, while Matt and Adam are set home (without Rachel planning to stop by on a hometown date next week).
