Recap

The 20 guys Jillian Harris picked last week aren't moving into Jillian's mansion .... they're moving into a frat-tastic bunkhouse next door.

As they each get roses, they will be allowed to move in to the mansion.

Chris comes in and explains that this week there will be two group dates and an individual date, with one rose at stake at each.

Anyone who gets a rose gets to move into the mansion.

Chris gives them the first date card: Michael, Brian, Brad, Sasha, Tanner P., Wes, Ed, Mathue are invited to a pool party at the mansion.

The pool party begins, and Jillian takes Michael off to her roof for a chat. He's high energy and goofy. She walks back downstairs and grabs the rose, and it looks like she's going to give it to Michael, but she walks away.

Michael keeps waiting upstairs, and she never comes up... instead, she puts on her hat and walks outside the mansion into a waiting car and drives off.

Michael yells from upstairs to the guys that she's not there, and comes back down. The guys look around confused, and Chris comes out and tells them that she took off with the rose, and the race is on.

It's up to them to find her ... somewhere in L.A.!

The guys will be teamed up in pairs of two, but only one guy from the winning team will get to spend the evening with Jillian.

Chris sends the teams off to their Mini Coopers, and the teams are Brian and Ed, Michael and Tanner P., Brad and Wes, and Mathue and Sasha.

There's a lot of yelling in the cars, and it's a little tough to figure out what's going on, but Michael and Tanner open their map first and see they need to go to Hollywood.

Brad is slowing up Wes, while Brad thinks Wes is a moron... so they don't get along very well.

Jillian is at a jewelry shop checking out necklaces.

She picks out four for the guys to choose between when they get there.

Each of the teams is looking for a rose flag outside a restaurant, and in the kitchen is a rack of tuxedos. Brian and Ed find it first, and after putting on tuxes, the guys look around for the next clue.

Brad finds one in his pocket saying they need to "lay it on the line." Brad and Wes find the next clue on the kitchen prep line, and they head out, but they get in their car and drive looking for the next place when they should have been walking.

Brian and Ed find the clue and walk, and they get to the jewelry store first. They pick a necklace, and the shop owner gives them a clue.

Sasha's team comes in next, and then Brad's.

Inside the Crocker Club's old-time bank vault wearing a million dollars in jewels, Jillian awaits with a table for two and an evening full of alone time with whoever wins the challenge.

Brad and Wes get the next clue saying to put a "spring in their step," and they find a watch with the address on it. Brad and Wes arrive first at the Crocker Club, and they reveal the necklace that Brad chose, and he puts it on her.

Brad thinks he's going to get the dinner, but Jillian chooses Wes.

Brad is pissed because he feels he effectively won the race for the team, and he hopes Jillian will be able to see through Wes at some point.

Jillian and Wes sit down for dinner, and she tells him that he's definitely her type. The rest of the guys show up, and Brad tells them they're too late, and Wes won.

At dinner, Wes says he's had three long-term relationships in his 32 years, and he's not really a womanizer.

He intrigues Jillian, but she doesn't think she's his type, and she feels like she needs to protect herself from him. The rest of the guys watch uncomfortably on a security camera as the two kiss.

She tells Wes she's worried that he might be a bad boy whom a lot of women go for, but she isn't scared enough to let him go, so she gives him a rose and invites him to move back to the mansion and hang out tonight.

They leave the vault and the whole group gets in the limo and heads back to the estate.

Wes is established as the one to beat (and one to hate) as the rest of the guys watch as he moves into the mansion.

Back at the bunkhouse, the rest of the guys get an envelope saying that Jake will get a one-on-one date on which he needs to "cut loose."

He's ecstatic for the chance.

The next day, Jake gets ready for his date, and he's "stoked."

Of course if he doesn't get a rose on the date, he's toast. Jillian picks him up (with his wings on!) and whisks him off on their one-on-one.

Jillian is worried Jake might be a bit too conservative for her. She makes him trade in preppy khakis and button-down shirt for sexy western wear.

As he gets dressed, they play around with the different cowboy outfits, she admires his six pack, and he says he's gonna fall for her.

They pull up to the House of Blues, and they have it all to themselves.

She pours them some whisky and then gets up on the bar and dances like Coyote Ugly. He teaches her how to two-step, and Jillian is happily surprised.

Jake already says Jillian "quite possibly could be my soulmate."

Jillian and Jake sit down to their candlelit dinner, and she tells him he's a good choice for her first one-on-one.

Jake tells her about his flying history, and he tells her how being a pilot allows for spontaneous traveling.

He asks why she's there, and she says (again) that she's looking for her best friend, and he's happy to hear that.

He's looking to get married, and as she talks about her views on marriage he plants a wet one on her.

After dinner, Jillian has one more surprise for Jake: they look behind them and the stage appears, and it's Martina McBride singing for them.

They dance alone on the floor, and Jake worries about whether he will get a rose or not. After their dance, Jillian grabs the rose and pins it on Jake.

He calls it a "surreal, special" experience. They keep dancing and kiss, and he calls it magical.

Back at the barn, Mike opens an envelope for Jesse, Mark, David, Mike, Simon, Kiptyn, and Juan that says, "if you want to be with me, you have to play ball."

Julien isn't one of the guys getting a date, but he's not worried, because if he were Jillian, he wouldn't be getting rid of guys he didn't know well enough yet.

Juan is lacking in testosterone, which doesn't bode well for him in basketball, according to Tanner.

Jillian shows up and picks up the seven guys. They head to Venice Beach and go out onto a basketball court, and she tells the guys they're going to play shirts vs. skins.

David is way better than the others at the game, and Simon... not so much.

Juan picks up Jillian for a basket, which she misses, and then basically drops her on the pavement. Oops.

Jillian then introduces her "friends" ... the Harlem Globetrotters.

David is nervous, but he wants to score one basket to impress her. A massive crowd develops as the Globetrotters do their tricks, and then the game begins.

The Globetrotters totally kill the guys, but she's more impressed by how hot they look shirtless. One of the HGs hangs Jillian on the basket, and Juan goes and helps her down.

David tells the camera he wants to punch Juan.

The Globetrotters pick one guy whom they think would be best for Jillian, and they pick David. They give each of the guys a jersey.

Mike says he needs a way to impress her before the rose ceremony. As they walk on the beach, Jillian sees a guy in a speedo and jokes about how someone should ask him for it and jump in the ocean.

Mike does just that: he gets the speedo from the guy and runs into the ocean. Jillian is impressed and calls it "classic."

That night, Jillian meets the 7 guys for drinks, and they toast to a great day with a shot, which Juan pours out but pretends to take.

This really pisses off David.

Jillian goes off with Juan first, and he tries to woo her. Back with the group, David badmouths Juan for being so fake. He says, "Guys like that should get beat up." Apparently it's "Man Code."

Juan and Jillian kiss.

She then grabs Kiptyn. He says he signed up for the show because he has high standards. He's never had his heartbroken before, and he's normally the heartbreaker.

That makes her nervous, but she says she hopes he sticks around for a while, and they make out. They have a lot of chemistry, and Jill says she loves making out with him.

She heads back, grabs the rose in front of the seven guys, and gives it to Mike for being "so spontaneous" with the speedo. Mike and Jillian get in bathing suits and get in the pool, and the rest follow suit.

Time for the pre-rose ceremony cocktail party.

Mike, Jake, and Wes each already have roses, and they wait to greet Jillian before the rest show up. They talk about what their etiquette should be at the party, and Wes says he's not going to slow down.

Jill greets Wes, Jake and Mike first as the rest of the guys come in, and then greets the whole group. Four will be eliminated tonight.

Tanner starts up again talking about feet, and how his #1 goal is that she'll have on opened-toed shoes.

He tells her he loves feet as he picks up heres and examines them, and she begins to see how he's obsessed, and she's clearly creeped out.

Jesse has a bit of an issue with Wes, whom he says is aggressive and fake in conversation. Jillian comes and grabs Jesse, and asks about his serious side with relationships.

He says he was in a serious relationship once with someone he was in love with, but quickly brushes it off. He also says he had an opportunity to go to Italy to learn wine making, or to go on The Bachelorette.

Robert shows off his impressive drink mixing skills, and he makes Jillian his special drink, The Rosmo (Robert + Cosmo).

Jillian and Robert (Robby) sit down and she finally begins to get to know him for the first time, but then Wes (who already has a rose) comes and interrupts him.

Robert goes back and tells the other guys what happened, and the other guys are annoyed with how aggressive Wes is.

Reid thinks Wes is just there to promote his music.

David comes and steals Jillian away from Wes, and Robby confronts Wes about stealing her away from him. Wes has no apologies, and tells Robby if anything, he needs to step it up if he wants a rose.

Then Chris Harrison comes in and introduces another twist: Jillian needs their "help." Yeah, right. The bachelors must vote for the man they would most like to send home immediately.

Mike, Jake and Wes are exempt from the vote because of their roses.

The guys pick up the ballots, and Jillian says she didn't know this was coming, and she's curious to see whom they will pick, even though she doesn't want anyone to feel picked on.

Jesse puts in his ballot first (guess he had an easy decision), and Michael becomes very stressed out and upset about the voting thing.

Reid says he would have picked Wes, if he could. Tanner P. picked David because he's big competition, and he's not a big fan.

Sasha and Jesse picked Juan because he's so phony.

Just then, Juan steals Jillian away from Reid. He really does lay on the sleazy charm, and David keeps talking about how he would beat up Juan for being a snake and breaking Man Code left and right.

Brad votes for Juan as well. Everyone congregates by the pool, and Brian wants to stand out, so the rest of the guys start to clap as he strips totally nude and jumps in the pool.

The rest of the guys are totally taken aback, and Jillian denies him for a kiss afterwards because it's a little bit over the top.

Chris comes back with the voting results:

Julien got the third most votes, David got the second most votes, and the guy who got the most votes was Juan.

Chris tells Juan as of right now, he's going home, but Jillian gets the final say if she gives him a rose right now.

She stands up in front of everyone and tells them that she appreciates their opinion, but she's giving him the rose.
