Penny's excited when she gets a small role on NCIS. When the episode airs, she finds out that her scene was cut. She's upset and Leonard's attempt to help backfires. She gets drunk and tells Leonard that she's accomplished nothing since she got to LA. He reminds her that she has him and she proposes. He answers with an "Um" and she storms out.

After Sheldon's friends don't laugh at his jokes or find him funny, he decides to investigate how to be funny. 

Even though Raj is able to talk to women now without being drunk, he still has troubles. He goes to the mall with Stuart to work on his communication skills, but is unsuccessful.
