Today on The Bold and the Beautiful ...

Tears streaming down her cheeks, Bridget tells Ridge that Eric's condition is getting worse and that it's unlikely that he'll have a full recovery.

She tells him and Brooke that it's time for them to prepare themselves for the "inevitable." Ridge is shattered by the idea that he won't have Eric back with him.

Bridget then hints that they need to talk about whether to keep Eric on the ventilator they just put him on.

When they talk about Donna, Ridge claims his heart goes out to her because he knows that she loves Eric very much.

Bridget admits that Donna has the legal right to make medical decisions for Eric.

Ridge is astounded that Eric wouldn't give that power to someone in the family but then states that they will all gather together to make any decisions when it's time to "end his suffering."

Back on the Shady Marlin, Katie and Nick come to the same conclusion that they can't hide her pregnancy from Bridget.

However, Nick also points out that she's not far along in her pregnancy and hints that it might be better to wait. She agrees that it might be best to wait until at least the end of the first trimester.
