In Wakanda six years ago, Ayo tests Bucky by repeating the words used to brainwash him by HYDRA. He is able to resist.

In the present day, Ayo confronts Bucky about freeing Zemo. She gives him eight hours with Zemo before she and her people come for him.

Bucky returns to the safe house and tells Sam and Zemo about Ayo. They find out about Karli's bombing of a GRC supply depot.

The GRC introduces The Patch Act, which would restore traditional border regulations.

Zemo finds out where and when Donya Madani's funeral will be, but he doesn't tell Sam or Bucky the details as leverage. Sam calls Sharon for help as extra eyes.

Walker and Lemar find Sam, Bucky, and Zemo in Latvia. They agree to let Sam try to reason with Karli before they use lethal force.

At Donya's funeral, Sam talks with Karli. But Walker gets impatient and tries to arrest her. She runs away. Zemo finds her and shoots her. He finds the remaining serum and destroys all of it except for one vial. Walker pockets it and Karli gets away.

The Dora Milaje come for Zemo. They all fight while Zemo escapes.

Karli calls Sarah and sends her coordinates to relay to Sam so they can meet up. She threatens Sarah and her sons if she doesn't.

Sam and Bucky meet with Karli.

Sharon tells Sam that the Flag Smashers are moving in on Walker. A fight ensues as they head over to the location,

There, Walker, having taken the serum, holds his own against the Flag Smashers. Sam and Bucky arrive and help him fight.

Karli kills Lemar. Walker, blinded by rage, kills one of the Flag Smashers as a crowd watches and films it.
