After being trapped on Earth-X, Green Arrow, The Flash, White Canary, and the others meet the Freedom Fighters in this universe. The Freedom Fighters consist of The Ray, Winn Schott, and Leo-X a.k.a. Citizen Cold.

The team begs the Freedom Fighters for help to get back to Earth-1. But Winn is against it as it would be taking too many risks. Eventually, with the help of the Ray and Citizen Cold, he agrees to help the heroes of Earth-1.

Back on Earth-1, Eobard Thawne is preparing Kara Danvers for surgery as they plan to transfer her heart over to Overgirl. This Kara is sick and needs a heart transparent and Supergirl is the only one who is a perfect match.

Other members of the team are locked up in the pipeline and can't help Iris and Felicity. While the team deals with the Earth-X baddies on Earth-1, the heroes manage to find a way to get home to Earth-1,

But things go quite bad during the mission. The Flash and The Ray struggle to defeat the Earth-X version of Red Tornado. But when Stein tries to open up a breach to get back to Earth-1, he gets shot and seriously injured.
