Lazarus escaped through a hatch in the basement. He’s still alive and planning his revenge against Jane.

Patrick Jane buys his cabin in the woods. He’s very serious about this remodel. Lisbon notices that he’s taken off his wedding ring. He says he’s not married. Then he says he wants her to be his wife and asks her to marry him. Lisbon says yes. 

The two plan a small ceremony but it quickly morphs into much more. Teresa’s brothers and their families fly in. Abbott offers his home for the ceremony and hires a caterer. Teresa begins to have a meltdown when she sees it all and asks Patrick if they can elope.

Abbott asks Jane if he plans to leave the FBI. If so, they have some legal paperwork to take care of. Jane says he isn’t sure yet but he’ll let him know. 

When the team realizes that Lazarus is still alive they consider keeping it from Lisbon and Jane so that they can enjoy their wedding but when Lazarus kills Dan Glover, the TV reporter who interviewed Jane and then begins to gather information about his wedding, Abbot breaks down and tells Jane who in turn tells Lisbon.

The wedding venue is once again changed to Jane’s cabin and when Lazarus shows up, an entire FBI team is waiting to take him down and he is arrested. 

Then Teresa and Patrick get married in front of friends and family. Rigby and Grace also make the ceremony. There are lots of smiles as everyone dances into the night. As they take a quiet moment alone, Teresa tells Jane that she’s pregnant. He couldn’t be happier.
