Mindy decides to throw a Christmas party for the entire building in hopes of spending time with Cliff. Jeremy is skinny again but is worried he will eat too much at the party who he asks Peter to help him. Peter is worried about getting drunk and misbehaving, so he and Jeremy decide to be sober buddies. Danny and Mindy run into Brendan on the elevator with his new girlfriend Maria Menounos. The party ends up being a gluten and alcohol free event, so Mindy wears a special bra she fills with wine. When Mindy realizes Cliff left the party, she bails on her plan to sing a sexy holiday song, only to have Maria grab the microphone. Brendan is offended by her actions and breaks up with her. Jeremy finds a ginger bread house Danny has been working on and eats half of it. Danny pretends not to care about being Mindy's Secret Santa, but eventually gives her his real gift which is a choreographed dance to one of her favorite songs. The two almost kiss, but are interrupted by Peter and Jeremy. Peter wants to hit on Maria but is not sure what to do because he is sober. He ends up talking to her anyway and offers to drive her to the location of her shoot the next morning. Mindy goes outside for some fresh air and is surprised by Cliff who shows up and says he wants to be with her.
