When she arrives, Mindy is surprised when Danny's dad and half-sister pay a visit after Danny's sister gets into trouble at school. As they show them around New York, Mindy gets a surprise call from Annette and accidentally tells her about her ex being in town. Annette takes the opportunity and invites everyone over for dinner, against Danny's wishes, but Danny doesn't want Mindy to join the 'family matter.'
