On this episode of The Muppets, Fozzie has written a terrible sketch for the show and Kermit doesn't know how to tell him without hurting his feelings. So instead of explaining that Fozzie isn't a talented writer, Kermit convinces him that his idea is so good, he needs to expand it into a screenplay.  All the encouragement goes to Fozzie's head and he leaves the show to write his opus. Unfortunately, life in the woods doesn't agree with Fozzie, and Kermit has to rush to his rescue.

Gonzo's replacement is Nick Offerman, who turns out to be more trouble than he's worth, demanding first a cappuccino machine and then a boat.

Meanwhile, Christina Applegate is the show's guest and airs an embarrassing clip of Miss Piggy falling face-first into a cake. Piggy then spends the rest of the episode trying to get revenge by embarrassing Applegate right back.

Finally, Gonzo connects with a woman via his online dating profile.  The only problem is that he is using Liam Hemsworth's picture in place of his own.  So Pepe and the rest of the writers convince Hemsworth to come to Gonzo's date and try and convince the lady to like Gonzo purely on the basis of his personality.
