On The Mysteries of Laura Season 1 Episode 3, we join the case with Laura, Jake and Billy as they investigate the recent murder of a biker bar. What's so special about this particular bar? It's the sight of Jake and Laura's first date, so this case holds a special place in their hearts. 

They round up the usual list of suspects. A jealous boyfriend of one of the waitresses that was recently fired, a homeless man that is currently off his meds and their biggest suspect is a wall street billionaire. All suspects have alibis and their stories point Laura in the last place she thought she would have to look, the owners wife. 

Meanwhile, it seems as though the sparks are starting to fly for newly divorced Jake and Laura. Will this be the beginning of them getting back together? 

The twins, also, get a new baby sitter who teaches them about history and actually makes them well behaved children. Unfortunately when Laura sends Max to do some checking up, it causes the sitter to quit. Thankfully Laura convinces her to stay and offers her 6 months of payment up front for taking care of the kids.
