Burton and Conner are in their fatigues, and it's 2028. There's a wounded dog that the other side is using for bait.

Conner tries to save the dog, even after they determine it's a trap.

He clips the barbed wire that's attached to the dog and sees that the dog has a bomb inside of him.

The bomb goes off, and Conner wakes up screaming inside burton's trailer.

A person gets approached by Beatrice about Daniel's murder.

Tommy is extremely bloody and recovering from the crash.

His memory is foggy from the collision.

Wilf reveals to Flynne that all the people she sees and even some of the buildings are just AR, not real.

Wilf and Flynne discuss the next steps they plan on taking.

They approach a butcher that is a front for a Peripheral shop.

Flynne manages to get the guy to talk and work with them.

Flynne talks about replacing an eye with a human eye, and the butcher and his assistant attack her.

She beats them relatively easily, which makes Wilf smile.

She and Wilf start questioning the butcher, and he reveals that Aelita is working with the neoprims.

Wilf cleans the blood off Flynne, and they share an intimate moment.

Conner starts working on his bike/car hybrid, and questions one of the techies about the technology that Flynne uses.

Conner wants to live in the Peripheral permanently, with an IV and a catheter.

Meanwhile, Ash is working on building a body for Conner in the Peripheral.

Tommy visits the doctor, Dee, and she wants him to step away from the case and she thinks everything is Corbell's fault.

He doesn't want to leave, but she does.

Bob wakes up in Corbell's kitchen with a collar around his neck.

Bob tries to stab corbell with a knife, but Corbell's woman sets off the collar, giving him a significant electric shock.

Corbell threatens Bob.

Ash gets a visitor at the front door, which worries everyone. It's the inspector, Lowbeer.

Lev and Wilf panic and Lowbeer makes her way inside.

Tommy approaches Burton, and Burton tells him to eff off, which baffles Tommy.

Bob destroys Corbell and the woman's fish tank, so he can attack her.

She tries to get away, but he touches her before she shocks him, and Bob remained conscious while she didn't.

Lowbeer makes a lot of threats to Wilf and Lev using a lot of metaphors.

Lowbeer summons the three Peripherals on site and wants to meet the peripherals' operators (Burton, Flynne, and Conner).

At the 3D printing place, they have other headsets to send all three in simultaneously.

They prep to enter the Peripheral, as Lowbeer questions Lev.

The three enter the Peripheral.

Inspector Lowbeer introduces herself to Flynne, as Burton and Conner take in their surroundings.
