Recap

It doesn't take two seconds for Jane to see blood spattered onto the door window where she just made her transaction on Purge night.

Mr. Bettencourt has a first name! It's Nick. He's going to speak with the owner of the home and host of the party, Albert Stanton. Jenna still wants the night to be about getting their money, but there are 11 hours and 55 minutes remaining, and they're stuck in that house.

Lila is the bell of the ball, and it's irking Jenna already.

Lila slowly makes her way over to Jenna, spotting her early but stopping at others along the way.

In front of Miguel's car, there is a man in flames. Despite the fact it seems like Miguel is driving a tank (think of the well-equipped Purge vehicles from the movie franchise), he's merely driving what looks like an Oldsmobile.

Miguel stops to help some people working with the wounded. He's well versed with gunshots. The medics are off limits, apparently, and Purgers obey that rule.

The fluorescent blue bus is on the move, idiot leader happy as a pig in poo.

Alison spots something on her computer that makes her scared. She slams her computer shut.

Jane is back in the office somehow. She recalls meeting with David at the time they were interviewed. They're selling each other.

No doubt, she's trying to kill David, who is at the end of the interview taking a look at her ass.

A girl on the bus doesn't want to get hurt like the poor bastard first off the bus. Penelope tells her you to need to suffer pain to get to the Invisible. Her parents didn't have someone like the Good Leader to guide them. She has had so much Kool-Aid she can't even see out of her blue eyeballs.

It's poor Melissa's turn. Of course. Penelope gives her a hug and tells her to remember what awaits her and to be strong. Melissa shakes her head no. Nope. She doesn't think so. Verbally no, she's not open to this crackpot's ideas.

Lila is finally at Jenna's table. They seem to get along well until Lila reaches for Jenna's hand. She says she's OK and all that stuff, it was in the past. She wants her dad to take care of her. She'll put in a good word.

Jane thinks David is hitting on her for an option to partner. She storms out.

Miguel is driving around and gets caught in a trap!! Five color-coordinated Purgers give him three seconds to get out of the car. He's a "gauntlet" for a neighborhood contest. Oh, they're so excited about finding him. He has to make it around the block. An old man is excited. He's Otis and owns the Autorama. He goes live on TV. Why doesn't someone blow them ALL away on live TV? Unknown.

Run, Miguel! Run! He's the 3rd contestant of the night. The first two are scattered around the course. Of course, we know Miguel will make it. He takes an arrow to the arm.

The show is airing on the big screens at the wealthy party. Rick is back among the living. He runs into Lila. They hug. Rick's meeting apparently went well.

The building Miguel stumbled into is booby trapped. Stairs turn to a ramp, etc., like a funhouse with real killers. He's doing more of the killing, though.

Miguel is doing pretty damn well. He finds himself with a giant guy but takes him down. He wins, says a message to Penelope in the camera, takes the car and drives away.

Jane recalls the company Christmas party. David comes in to say it aloud. Merry Christmas.

Alison tries to get Jane to cop to wanting David dead.

The Good Leader wants Melissa to go now. Penelope wants to go in her place, but the idiot leader won't let her. Now all becomes clear to those on the bus what the hell this means, one would hope.

Of course, it's another couple of ax murderers with a golf club that comes to carry her off. Penelope isn't as impressed this time around.

Miguel makes it to the club to find the cop recommended by the medics. Excelsior, he says, and is admitted.

More background on Jane planning her hit. She feels the need to tell the girl she hires why she wants the hit. The girl finally tells her to shut up. Since it's her right to Purge.

Lila and Jenna connect outside the house. They hate this night. And what better way to share that hatred than to make out?

A masked man is listening to the radio and looking at a woman on his truck console repeating "a mighty swing of your bat." He appears to be a hitman.

Radio Broadcaster

Alison: What about you. You must have a secret wishlist.
Jane: Wishlist for what?
Alison: Oh, come on. A secret Purge list? All the people you really wish you could take out? We all have one.
Jane: I don't. I've never even been out on Purge night before.
Alison: There's a first time for everything. I mean, what about David?
