On The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 10, the ladies head to Puerto Rico on Demetria McKinney's dime to watch her perform. She has a 30-minute set to perform and wants the girls in the audience.

Before the trip, Demetria and Kandi meet for lunch and Demetria says she wants to work with Kandi. Kandi changes the subject and eventually starts talking about her Bedroom Kandi line. Later, Demetria meets with NeNe and Phaedra and Phaedra throws shade at Demetria for her desire to be a pop star. According to Phaedra, Demetria is too old.

Demetria, Porsha, and Kandi arrive in Puerto Rico first and Demetria tells them about the run-in with Phaedra. Kandi and Porsha try to explain how Phaedra is just as Kenya, Claudia, and Cynthia, aka "Team Beauty," arrive. Demetria tells them the same story and that sets the tone for the rest of the trip.

At dinner that night, Demetria confronts Phaedra, and Phaedra maintains she didn't say anything wrong. When Demetria insults Phaedra about Apollo's legal troubles, Phaedra shuts down. NeNe and Claudia pick up the battle and begin arguing about NeNe's history as a stripper, Claudia's bankruptcy troubles, NeNe's hair, and Claudia's love life.
