On The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 16, Kandi and Todd attended marriage counseling for the first time. He says their issues started with her delivery of the prenup and she wonders whether or not he's cheating when he's in LA. They both agree that things are off in the bedroom. The therapist gives them homework.

Peter and Cynthia host a Salute to Excellence awards ceremony for members of the hip hop music industry. Kandi Burruss receives an award at the event after discussing the previous night's argument. During that discussion, she tells them all that she knew about the text messages but what's happening in Phaedra and Apollo's marriage is none of her business. Later, Todd calls her Kim Zolciak.

Cynthia invites Phaedra to dinner to discuss the night at Fogo de Chao and when Phaedra accuses Cynthia of spreading rumors she didn't fact-check, Cynthia accuses Phaedra of doing the same. Phaedra leaves the dinner angry. 

NeNe decides the women need to go to therapy with Dr. Jeff and hopes he'll be able to help them all come to an understanding about their issues. She invites all of the women except Kenya and Phaedra to lunch to see if they would be willing to attend. After a little coaxing, they all agree.
