When you watch The Returned Season 1 Episode 8, you'll see that Claire began her affair with Peter before Camille died. Julie finally starts to pick up on the fact that Victor may be more than he appears. Tony covers for Adam and is taken into police custody. Victor makes Tony "see" his mother who convinces him to end his life. Tony grabs one of the cops' guns and shoots himself in the head. Camille and Claire find the Koretskys dead by hanging next to a shrine of their son. Camille realizes her talk with them influenced their decision. Rowan and Tommy are happy now that Simon is gone. However, the episode ends with Simon waking up in the morgue.
