- A kid Nolan bonded with in the elevator steals a police helicopter and Grey and Nolan tries to get him down.
- they have to get him down before the plane runs out of fuel. He wants to do a hero's journey.
- Angela and Tim work together on a case.
- Thorsen has a new assistant as part of the reality show he's doing.
- Harper stops by her OB when she's not feeling well.
- While at the hospital, Thorsen has to relieve sheriff's watching over an lifer prisoner who killed a cop.
- The kid assigns Nolan three quests for him to complete his hero's journey.
- Leo gives Nolan and Lucy quests and Lucy tells Nolan to go with it. Leo sends them to a trap house where teens used to hang out before it got taken over by bad people and dealers and one of his friends overdosed.
- Thorsen believes the guy he's guarding could be innocent.
- The assistant gets Harper the food she wanted and now she sends him to find a doll from her childood.
- The alligator guy they found drugs with is also associated with Leo's stepfather
- Leo is worried about his mother who has a isory of drug abuse and relapsed after his father died. Leo wants to get his mother away from his stepfather who could make her relapse again
- Thorsen gets Wesley and James in, and they say that there's a case for Langston but later Harper tells Thorsen that there is footage of Langston stomping a guard during a riot, so his appeal for a retrial is pointless.
- They manage to arrest Leo's stepfather, but just when he's ready to land, he is alerted that he's out of gas.
- They land the helicopter and arrest Leo. Nolan gets him and gives him his card and advice.
- Thorsen still gets help for Langston and explains why because of his personal experience and that a real cop killer may be out there free just like the person who really killed Patrick.
- They get overtime because Cupcake broke free.
