Ashley gets Reverend Stone (Tom Virtue) to help her make sure her parents stay together.  Ricky's estranged father, Bob (Bryan Callen) returns to town on parole looking for his son.  However, when he comes to Amy and her family and tries to sell the baby we learn he's up to no good.  When Amy tells her parents that Ricky was sexually abused by his father, Anne suggests they shoudl consider adoption.  For the firs time, Amy seriously considers adoptions and she talks to both Ben and Ricky about it.  Both Ben and Ricky want her to keep the baby, but for different reasons.  Anne seeks out advice from Reverend Stone looking for a good family looking to adopt.
