On The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 5...

• Ivy got loose in Mystic Falls after Caroline agreed to help her transition. She nearly killed a guy (and ended up being nabbed by Tripp to close the episode, with Caroline watching) and then that guy stumbled into Tyler's path while he was driving.
• Tyler therefore lost control and plowed through a corn maze where there was a Homecoming party going on. A guy was about to die, which would have triggered Tyler's werewolf curse, but Liv stepped in to suffocate him and save Tyler that fate.
• Liam saved some lies by doing cool medical stuff and Elena kissed him.
• Jo and Alaric also helped to save some lives, bonding in the process, but Alaric then tried to compel her positive thoughts for him away. It seemingly didn't work and she kissed him anyway.
• In 1994, Bonnie fought off Kai and tossed the Ascendant to Damon, thereby sending him back to present day. (And killing herself in the process?)
• We ended the episode with Stefan hugging his returned brother.
