PART I: J.T. (Thad Luckinbull) and then Colleen (Tammin Sursok) stop over at Victoria's (Amelia Heinle) hospital room and try to snap her out of her coma. Brad (Don Diamont) asks what type of music Victoria likes. J.T. tells him he doesn't like him being around her so Brad leaves. He later complains to his daughter about J.T. kicking him out. Sharon (Sharon Case) urges Jack not to bring to the public his disagreement with Victor but Jack won't promise anything. Jack then confronts Heather and Maggie at the Crimson Lights and blasts them for not having a search warrant when they got some hairs from his dog.

: Lily lets Cane (Daniel Goddard) know how relieved she was to hear that he had escaped injury at Clear Springs. When she asks what he was thinking when he was trapped, he mentions how pretty she is. As she leaves, she embraces him and gives him a kiss on the cheek. Getting tickets later to an Enrique Iglesias benefit concert at the Indigo, Lily invites Cane but he turns her down because he's going with Heather.

PART III: Neil (Kristoff St. John) confirms to Victor that an electrical engineer has pronounced the Clear Springs explosion an accident due to an electrical spark that ignited the leaking methane gas which was not noticed due to a defective monitor. Victor (Eric Braeden) calls a press conference but refuses to answer any questions. Jack is there and sticks around to address the press. Neil invites Karen to the concert.

PART IIII: Jack enters Victor's office unannounced which infuriates Victor. Jack asks when he's going to accept responsibility for what he did and then leaves, but not before petting Zapato and taking some of his hairs with him. Jack gives them to Maggie and insists she test them but Maggie privately throws it out. Brad angrily blames Victor for harming Victoria and vows to make him pay if the baby is hurt.
