This Is Us Season 6 Episode 10 revolves around Randall's story following Thanksgiving.

In the past, Randall takes his swimming test and passes with flying colors but gets distracted by overhearing his parents discuss Kate and Kevin's difficulties in the water, while the college-age Randall has to try to talk the cops out of arresting the Big Three when they arrive at the site of the abandoned pool and realize that Kevin has beer on him.

In the present, Randall is upset that Kate has been made Rebecca's health care proxy, but before he and Beth can discuss it, Deja interrupts. She's angry because Malik broke up with her and told her what Randall said. She tells Randall she hates him and that he's not her father.

The next morning, Randall and Beth discover that Deja has run away. She's gone to Boston to try to resolve things with Malik. Randall wants to run after her. Rebecca insists on accompanying him on the trip.

Rebecca takes Randall's phone away and asks to stop at a diner so she can have something to take her pills with. At the diner, she convinces Randall to leave Deja alone for a day and she and Randall spend time together talking and making new memories.

This Is Us Season 6 Episode 10 Quotes

Randall: Deja. Dropping out of high school and getting your GED so you can live with your 18-year-old single dad boyfriend isn't good enough for you.
Deja: You don't get to decide that.
Randall: Yes I do. You are my daughter.
Deja: No, I'm not! Tess and Annie are your daughters. I'm just some girl you took from her mother.

Beth: I'm sure she has her reasons, hon.
Randall: I know.
Beth: And it's Thanksgiving. I told you there would be drama.
