Top Chef Season 12 Episode 4 features a special location and a special guest star.

First, the contestants were tasked with a Quickfire Challenge that took them to Cheers, the beloved bar where everyone knows your name. Once there, they have to create a snack for guest judge George Wendt.

From there, Top Chef Masters alum Michael Schlow welcomed the hopefuls to his Italian restaurant, Via Matta. For the Elimination Challenge, the players has to work in teams to write and create a three-course Italian menu.

The unit whose menu was ordered the most won, while everyone else was up for a double elimination!

Joining the judges this week was actress Emmy Rossum, the star of Shameless, who threw the aspiring stars for a loop when they had to make last minute adjustments to accommodate her gluten-free diet.
