The episode begins with Cordell having another nightmare of Davidson's barn burning down and the camera zooming in on the Walker ranch. We see Dan lurking around and the Walkers discussing the Serrano case.

The men behind the camera were some of Serrano's goons, and they were looking for a new buyer who hates the Walkers.

The Walker family is making Abby's chili for the cook-off.  August accidentally left a dishtowel near the stove, and it almost caught fire. Cordell started yelling, and Bonham realized Cordell's nightmares had returned.

Trey stops by, wanting to know when Micki is coming back and if anything went wrong.

Bonham tries to reassure his son the fire wasn't his fault, but Cordell wants to invite the Davidsons to the Harvest fest to lessen his guilt. Abby is upset about this and won't let Gail play mind games with Cordell.

While the Harvest fest has live music and games, the Davidsons do play mind games. Dan dumps chili on Liam. The men start fighting. Gail wants to bet an extra 5K.

Micki showed up at Harvest fest, but she's not herself or into this game of darts with Trey. When she hears a song that reminds her of Garrison, she runs out.

Abby follows her, knowing the song reminded her of another man. She tells Micki to think of herself and her needs.

When the contest is down to two, Cordell does a blind tasting and selects Gail's. He later confesses to his mom that he chose hers because he felt so guilty. He remembered bringing a lantern to the barn years ago, and he's sure he caused the fire.

Dan Miller is the new buyer. Cordell noticed a bug behind the photo.
