Mozzie sneaks into Sara's house and steals the copy of the black box tape. He brings it to Neal expecting him to be ecstatic, but Neal just tells him thank you and leaves.

The next day at work, Sara comes and is furious. She knows Neal took the unopened package from the FHA from her house. Neal agrees to take the polygraph test because he is able to cheat and ends up beating the system.

Later that day, Neal and Peter go on a stake out of an undercover illegal gambling ring. Neal has a plan to take down Donovan.

Agent Diana and Jones go in and pretend to be a couple to adopt a kid. They enlist in an adoption scam with a highly know jewel thief.

Sara comes to Neal's place with a search warrant. She finds the tape and is about to arrest him when Peter shows up and tells her that the case they are working on involves a child. She agrees to let him go.

Neal ends up kicking butt in the poker game and ends up winning. Diana goes in undercover when the Russian mob men intercept and steal the money. Peter comes rushing in and breaks a deal with them.

They set up the extortionist and are able to catch him on tape admitting that they steal money from parents wanting to adopt children. Peter and the crew come rushing in and arrest him.  

That night, Sara stops by Neal's and tells him he has to listen to what's on the tape. Later he and Mozzie do just that and realize that Kate was trying to call someone when the plane blew up.
