It's winter, and the girls haven't been saved. There's a hole in the ceiling, falling into a bucket that's frozen over.

They stuff their coats with magazines for warmth. Natalie and Travis are going hunting, and Lottie performs rituals on them before they leave. Ash on their palms, sage, blood in tea. Natalie thinks it's bullshit, but goes along with it anyway.

Lottie draws a symbol on the window when they leave.

Its 1998, and the girls have been rescued. They're mobbed by reporters as they get back on a plane to go home. Lottie hasn't spoken since she returned. Her family begs a doctor to fix her, and they strap her down, ply her with drugs, and electrocute her brain.

Lottie's roommate is panicking, but Lottie puts her hand on her chest and helps her breathe.

Now, she's leading a wellness retreat. She's talking to them about their primal, elemental selves.

Shauna is being read her rights. She's wearing a black dress and is in a dark room. Misty is interrogating her as practice. She says Shauna is a disaster. The only thing she should ever say to the police is I want my lawyer.

Misty just knows they missed something about Adam's death. Shauna answers too slow and too fast for Misty.

Taissa is a the pound, choosing a dog without even petting it first. She's hard. She chooses one named Steve. The tech is honored to have voted for her.

She doesn't even like looking at the cute little doggie.

Misty considers calling Taissa, but she logs in to the Citizen Detective site instead where she spots a post about Adam. She doesn't like what she reads and gives it a down vote.

Callie and her boyfriend Kyle are watching TV when Shauna gets home. She's being snotty, and wants Shauna to talk about Adam's disappearance. She freaks when Shauna says she already told Jeff.

Shauna was talking to dead Jackie all through the winter.

Van has a slice on her wrist from sleeping upstairs.

There are characters I don't even remember. Mari is talking to someone named Christy and another girl.

Dead Jackie is asking questions about how Shauna and Jeff got together. Shauna gets angry and knocks Jackie over, breaking off her ear.

She finally returns from the meat shed with their rations, cut down again.

Shauna hasn't gotten rid of anything. The safe is filled with Adam's belongings, which includes a drawing of her, his keys, license, and her diaries.

Shauna calls Jeff at the store. He's having a groovy time, but she's got news about Adam. He had an art studio.

Taissa has Steve in the car and tries to pick up Timmy, but Simone intervenes. She's freaked out about what she found in the basement and says if she doesn't seek treatment, she'll have no choice but to go to the press. Poor Steve.

Travis thinks he sees Javi in a snowbank. It's just a fox, but Travis was in full panic mode. He's hoping that Javi found another cabin.

Misty is asking after Natalie at the motel. It's a couple of people tossing wit back and forth. He won't give up any info on guests. She's going to wait until he's ready to talk. He tells her Natalie took off, left cash for the bill, and split in the middle of the night.

Shauna and Jeff are at the studio. The walks are filled with artwork of Shauna. Jeff wonders if she posed for him. Shauna says that the thought of him with someone else turns her on, and she describes it well enough that he's turned on, and Adam's studio is their little sex den.

Teen Shauna has Jackie's ear in her pocket.

Misty is angry that she's on water duty again. She's been doing it every day, and it's freezing out there.

Taissa wonders if she's OK.

Sex didn't go well. They need to do something about the art, so Jeff pours acetone on them, and Shauna smears her face.

Crystal is outside singing and dancing while Misty gets snow for water. Crystal connects with Misty, offering to teach her to sing. The can harmonize.

Natalie and Travis are charting a map. They've gone about seven miles in each direction. She says poor Javi, and Ben's like, you know that he's probably dead right?

Misty is crying in Natalie's room when she sees the door has been broken into. There is a video camera outside of Natalie's door.

Natalie is chained to a bed screaming you mother fuckers very loud begging to get out. Natalie says the thing around the girl's neck tells her all she needs to know.

Jeff is in the garage rocking out to Papa Roach's Last Resort while thinking about Adam's Shauna art. Shauna is putting Adam's stuff on the grill. They put on a lot of lighter fluid, so it goes up fast and high, catching the tree on fire. Jeff puts it out with a towel. Of course, now Adam's stuff is just smoking in the grill.

Tai is in the basement smelling dirty clothes when she finds the gate Simone climbed into. She seems genuinely shocked to find it. She had no idea she was going it. Steve runs in after her, and she tells him this was a mistake, and I'm going to do better with you.

Jeff and Shauna make hot dog jokes, and Callie is annoyed. Jeff stops her from cooking her own veggie burger on the Adam grill. Grilling is his love language, he says.

Natalie and Travis are in front of the fire. Travis can't admit Javi is dead. He starts having a panic attack, and Lottie does the hand on the chest thing, helping him breathe. He imagines a tree stump in the forest with light shining out of it. Maybe that was Lottie's vision. She told Travis that he's not dead, and Natalie gets annoyed.

Natalie is free, and she stabbed the girl with a fork. She's at Lottie's retreat, and they know she's free. She's running into the woods without any idea where she's going.

Tai kisses Van awake, she's being really rough, and tries pulling her lip off with her teeth. Tai has been doing this stuff for a long time.

Van writes I <3 U on her arm in blood. It's their first I love yous.

Natalie runs right back to the strange group. They're costumed and putting a naked man into an open grave, shoveling dirt on him. Natalie recognizes Lottie and starts beating people with a big stick.

Natalie has a message for her from Travis.

Callie finds Adam's burned license in the grill.

Natalie and Travis find a tree in the forest that has moss and no snow. Weird, she says.

Teen Shauna eats Jackie's ear.
