Liza tells Charles she needs to think over his proposal, so he rescinds it, leaving the ball in her court.
Charles’s proposal to Liza was captured on video at Diana’s wedding, and Lauren shows Josh the video.
Josh and Liza talk about Charles’s proposal, and Josh tells Liza all he wants is for her to be happy.
Liza later tells Charles and says she doesn’t want to get married, but she doesn’t want anything to change.
However, Charles wants to get married, and he breaks up with Liza.
Kelsey returns to Millennial as a board member and editor-in-chief, but things don’t go as planned.
She learns Zane quit, and he later breaks up with her, not being able to handle Kelsey’s success.
Charles and Kelsey go to Chicago to meet with their new investors, and the new investors want to change the name of the publishing company back to Empirical, leaving Kelsey feeling like she’s made a mistake rejecting Quinn’s money.
Lauren celebrates her 30th birthday and takes over Diana’s job while Diana is on her honeymoon.
Clare wants to take Gemma to Ireland, and Josh, Kelsey, and Lauren somewhat joke about Clare kidnapping Gemma.
Later, Josh meets Rob, Clare’s new boyfriend.
