"Home Sweet Zombie" brings us to Southern Illinois, that's roughly half way to California. Citizen Z clues us in to the fact a serious storm is brewing. Our survivors have made themselves at home in a little house with a picket, scratch that, electric fence. Addy and Mack run upstairs for a little sexy time but it isn't long before frightening flashbacks freak Addy out. Roberta never had a chance to say goodbye to her husband and they're only a couple of miles away from her home town. Garnett tells her it's possible her husband survived. Doesn't she want to know either way? There's a storm cellar at Roberta's house, they will be safe there. On the town's bulletin board Roberta spots a flyer with her husband, Antoine's, face. Meanwhile, the winds are picking up and the zombie hoards are gathering. Inside Roberta's house, they come across a couple. The man is wounded pretty badly. They were sent there by a fireman. Could it be Antoine? While Mack and Addy gather supplies and head down to the basement, Garnett and Roberta make their way to the fire station for a first aid kit. Meanwhile, Murphy look in the mirror and realizes he's rotting. What is he exactly? Well for one, bald. He decided to shave his head before the others notice his hair loss. At the fire station, Z-firefighters attack. After checking each Z, they realize Roberta's husband is not among them. Once they return with the first aid kit, Roberta locks her friends safely in the basement and waits for the Z-nado to finish her off. She's ready to rejoin her husband. Miraculously a fireman comes out of nowhere and protects Roberta. She thinks it was a dream and has made her peace with it but Z-Antoine staggers off at the end.
