These hustlers deserve appreciation and day off. At least one day where the pressures of the world are not entirely on their shoulders.

Here are 21 television busy bees that are always engrossed with work and never have time to themselves. Find out if your favorite made the list.

1. Danny Reagan (Blue Bloods)

Danny is one overloaded detective and father. He comes home after serving two tours in Iraq and goes straight to working as a police officer again. Danny has to deal with the death of his wife and losing his house in a fire. If anyone deserves a beach vacation it’s Danny.

2. Sherlock Holmes (Elementary)

Seriously, when does this man sleep? Overnight, this consulting detective is able to analyze countless clues, come up with a genius new lead for the investigation, and still has time to wake Watson with a gourmet breakfast.

3. Olivia Benson (Law & Order SVU)

Olivia is an NYPD Lieutenant in charge of Manhattan’s Special Victim Unit. Benson has had to cope with many life-threatening and emotional challenges throughout her career. Benson deserves some time off but we all know New York could not survive without her. Dun Dun.

4. Leslie Knope (Parks and Recreation)

Leslie has more energy, drive, and focus than anyone else in Pawnee. Some might say it is because she has a diet that consists mostly of sugary, whipped cream, but in truth, it is because she cares. She wants the best for her city and friends. Leslie never gives up even if the citizens of Pawnee don’t appreciate her.

5. Mona Vanderwaal (Pretty Little Liars)

Mona isn't your typical high-school student. She is able to stalk and torture before becoming a victim herself, all while maintaining a perfect GPA. Oh, she was also able to win AD's game and set up her own dollhouse in Paris. Maybe she will get a well-deserved break when The Perfectionists airs in 2019, but I wouldn't bet on it.

6. Wile E. Coyote (Looney Tunes)

Since 1949, this poor coyote has been in constant pursuit of the Road Runner. All of his traps backfire usually resulting in Wile E. Coyote being blown up or falling off a cliff. After 69 years, this guy deserves a sabbatical.

7. Joel & Sheila Hammond (Santa Clarita Diet)

Any couple would be overloaded being suburban realtors at the top of their game without moonlighting as serial killers. It must be exhausting having to take care of a zombie, stuffing bodies in refrigerators, and maintaining a happy family.

8. Olivia Pope (Scandal)

Being the most powerful person in the country is hard work. Ms. Pope has to juggle running secret organizations, rigging elections, an affair with the president, murders, cover-ups, etc... All of this doesn't even include her day job at Pope & Associates.

9. Meredith Grey (Grey's Anatomy)

One would think that owning a hospital, being Chief of General Surgery, and a single mom would be difficult enough to manage; but Meredith also has to deal with the occasional bomb-in-a-body, drowning, shooting, and a plane crash. Since time off is impossible, Meredith releases stress in the best way possible: spontaneous dance parties!

10. Cisco Ramon (The Flash)

Cisco is a busy member of Team Flash. He is a mechanical engineering prodigy and scientist at S.T.A.R. Labs. If that was not enough, Cisco is also a meta-human able to manipulate vibrational energy.

11. Rick Sanchez (Rick and Morty)

Rick is an alcoholic, mad scientist who is always planning his next adventure. Rick is constantly dragging Morty to another dimension that ends up putting everyone else in danger. Rick, please, for all the world's multiverses' safety, take a break.

12. Buffy Summers (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)

Getting through junior and senior year at a new high-school is tough enough without having to save the world from an apocalypse every other day. Luckily, Buffy always had her Scooby Gang to back her up.

13. Abby Sciuto (NCIS)

For 15 years, Abby did the job of a whole forensic team only being fueled by Caf-Pow and hugs from Burt the Hippo. She was always crucial in helping the team solve the case. While she will be greatly missed, Abby is finally getting a break from her duties at NCIS. How will the team survive without her?

14. Chloe Decker (Lucifer)

Being a homicide detective and single-mom is hard work. Chloe also has to babysit her partner, Lucifer, from misbehaving. Chloe definitely needs some rest and relaxation and that was before learning her partner and love interest is the actual devil.

15. Ruth Wilder (GLOW)

Ruth is a struggling actress turned wrestler. She has to deal with learning her new career, conflicts with co-workers, and handling the fallout from sleeping with her best friend’s husband. Being able to make amends and go on to win the GLOW crown is no easy task.

16. Kara Danvers (Supergirl)

Who can handle two high-stress, demanding jobs at the same time? Obviously, Supergirl can. Kara needs some time off from her career and saving the world so she can spend time with the people in her life. She has earned it.

17. Regina Mills (Once Upon A Time)

No one is better at multi-tasking than Regina. She is a queen and a mayor. She is a hero and a villain. She casts curses and breaks curses. She does all this while protecting the ones she loves and looking fabulous.

18. Dwight Schrute (The Office)

Being the only person in an office that actually cares would normally be disheartening, but not for Dwight Schrute. He remains the top seller at Dunder Mifflin while learning karate, managing a beet farm, and watching over Mose. Since Dwight achieved his life-long goal of becoming Regional Manager, don’t expect him to take any time off…ever.

19. G. Callen (NCIS Los Angeles)

Being an NCIS special agent, going undercover, catching murderers, and thwarting terrorists can be backbreaking work. Callen is long overdue for a vacation or at least some kind of social life.

20. Phaedra Parks (Real Housewives of Atlanta)

Phaedra is an accomplished entertainment attorney, licensed mortician, and a single mom. She also has time to make up rumors about her "friends" as a reality star. Luckily, Bravo gave her the time off she needed.

21. Moira O'Hara (American Horror Story Murder House)

Of all the characters on this list, Moira is least likely to get time off. Most maids would not continue working after being taken advantage by one employer and shot in the eye by her other employer. Moira, however, continues to work at the “Murder House” long after her death. At least she gets a day pass to leave on Halloween.
