7. Most Disappointing Conclusion: Castle Season 7 Episode 20 “Sleeper”

I tried to get on board Rick’s summer long disappearance and I was more than willing to suspend my disbelief in order to enjoy a good story. But we waited all season for answers and when they finally came, there were still huge unexplained holes in the narrative. Why was Rick gone for two months? I was skeptical at first. This show works best when Kate and Rick are working together but Castle working as a private investigator was a fun twist that lasted just long enough (3 episodes) to not overstay it’s welcome. Added bonus was Castle’s cool new office that gave our couple the opportunity for some sexy role play!
