It is always great to see Kono be the awesome, strong survivor that she is. When Kono goes on a solo outrigger trip around the Hawaiian islands in honor of her mother, she hits a patch of wild weather and must fight to stay alive. 

Clearly Kono is going to make it out of this situation, but what is she going to have to go through to get out if this? 

Meanwhile, the team is searching for Kono and must investigate a man busted for cooking meth who claims to have received a threat on his son's life if he didn't continue making the drug. Will the rest of the team realize what happened and come to her rescue or will she have to find her own way back?
