RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 3: Let's Predict The Winner!

Going through RuPaul's Drag Race withdrawals? (So are we.) Well then...bring back our All Stars!

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 3 is gearing up for another season of drama, outrageous outfits, and challenges that separate the fillers from the fierceness. This time around, nine queens returned to snatch the crown, and they're not going out without a fight. It's going to be amazing!

I binge-watched every season of RuPaul's Drag Race (and the All Stars seasons) during Summer 2017. Their one-liners, friendships, lip syncs and Untucked segments are still fresh in my mind.

Before the start of the new season, I've taken a look at the competitors, their past seasons and where they are now to predict their placement this time around. This list is based solely on opinion, and it does not include any rumors or potential spoilers.

Who do you think will win RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 3?

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 3 airs Thursdays on VH1 at 8/7c.

9. Morgan McMichaels

Morgan has the most to prove since her time away from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Coming from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 2 shouldn’t be held against her; we’ve seen in the past that Queens from the older seasons can hold their own.

However, the series has changed since her time on the show and the bar has considerably raised for what it takes to win. And, judging from her first time around, she was more wrapped up in the drama than her challenge performance. I'm predicting a first boot for Morgan.

8. Milk

Milk is…Milk. She’s a superstar, an artist, and she was a trailblazer for RuPaul’s Drag Race. When she gets it, she can shock and awe, but other times it can leave you scratching your head. What could be her downfall is her inability to change her aesthetic. Based on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6, she wouldn’t change being Milk and adapt to the judges’ critique. I’m hoping for the best, but she could be an early boot for the same reason.

7. Aja

I love Aja. She spoke her mind and kept it real on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 9. She was one of the few Queens I hoped would’ve made it farther on her original season. However, she had trouble with her makeup and outfit designs. She’s considerably grown since then, but if the judges aren’t feeling her looks, I could see her being one of the early shocking boots.

6. Thorgy Thor

I can’t believe I’m saying this but…filler Queen. Thorgy was a delight on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 8; she was fun, quirky and added a lot of humor. What’s missing this time around is the fire. Her pre-show interview didn’t wow or have the drive to get the crown. I could see her getting eliminated somewhere around the middle (maybe earning 5th or 6th place).

5. Ben DeLaCreme

Ben edges out Thorgy in the next spot because of what I mentioned above: the fire. Ben has already won Miss Congeniality from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6, so all that’s left is the crown. She can make magic with fabric, materials and a hot glue gun; the outfits won’t be a big challenge. Ben will have to stand out in actual challenges because the other contestants are more versatile. I’m predicting a 5th place spot for her.

4. Kennedy Davenport

Kennedy missed her chance at the Final 3 during RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7, but she definitely left her mark. She can own a challenge, an outfit and a lip sync. In fact, she’s one of the lip sync superstars from this batch of All-Stars. While I predicted a 4th place spot, I think this could be due to a bad week or losing to someone stronger at the lip sync.

3. Shangela

RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars 3 is Shangela’s third chance. She has the drive and the determination to finally win it all on her third time. You can’t deny she’s a superstar, but I could see her, unfortunately, losing it out during a lip-sync near the end of the season. I’m placing her in third place.

2. Chi Chi DeVayne

Chi Chi is a lip sync assassin. Her time on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 8 proves that when given the stage, or the materials, she can pull it out and destroy the competition. She’s grown since her time on the show and her aesthetic has reached the levels of Queendom. If things go her way, the crown could be in reach, except for her biggest competition…

1. Trixie Mattel

RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars Season 3 is Trixie’s competition to lose. She is a superstar and very worthy of the Drag Race Hall of Fame. She had a successful web show (which became a VICE TV series), she’s one of the few Queens to become a Funko toy, and she’s one of the more recognizable Queens from the series. Trixie is unique, she’s fun, determined and ready to win. She is the odds on favorite to win. But could she actually make it happen? That’s the $100,000 question.
