After all she went through in Shades of Blue Season 1...being arrested, forced to inform on her friends to the FBI, knowing someone else died in her place, and having her daughter threatened by her ex...how the heck is Detective Harlee Santos still smiling?

The last time we saw Harlee, her abusive ex-boyfriend Miguel was threatening to rape her and then go after their teenage daughter, Cristina. So Harlee did what any good mother would do...she snapped his neck.

Of course that means that on top of all of Harlee's other problems, she now has to figure out how to get Miguel's dead body off of her dining room floor!

We're betting it won't take long for her to come up with a plan.

How will Cristina react when her newly found daddy disappears?

Will Harlee tell her he's dead, or will she just say he took the cash and left town for good?

We're guessing Harlee will leave out the part about snapping the man's neck, but you'll have to watch Shades of Blue Season 2 Episode 1 to find out.

There's a new player on the scene on Shades of Blue Season 2, and it's Julia Ayres.

She's running for mayor of New York City and her history and relationships are complicated to say the least.

It turns out that Julia and Wozniak are old friends.

They used to work together as detectives for the NYPD, until Julia decided to leave the force and move on to a career in politics.

These two talk wistfully about kicking in doors on the job and taking down bad guys together. They obviously have some fond feelings for one another.

They're close friends...

Yeah, if that touching tells us anything, it's that Wozniak and Julia may have been a little more than just friends back in the day.

But what's their relationship like now, and how far will they go for one another?

But what's going on with the rest of the team?

They all went through hell together in Shades of Blue Season 1.

Do they know that Harlee was the informant for the FBI? And what will happen now that Wozniak has turned himself in?

Tess took a bullet during that heist in the Shades of Blue season 1 finale! She certainly looks healthy enough here, but we can't imagine that she'll be happy if she finds out what Harlee was up to.

Remember how she reacted when she thought her husband was having an affair? Carlos had to drag her away before she did some serious damage. No one can say that Tess doesn't have a temper.

Any chance she'll go on the attack with Harlee?

And Carlos may be the most even tempered of the bunch, but what if he finds out that Harlee's been the rat, and Wozniak killed Saperstein?

We don't know how Carlos or any of the other team members might handle the truth.

We doubt that Loman actually feels as though he's part of this crew, but he definitely got in deeper than we expected last season.

Will his desire to do good lead him to take down Harlee and Wozniak, or will he do the smart thing and put in for a transfer?

Wozniak certainly looks hurt, and who can blame him. He trusted Harlee like a daughter, and she never told him she'd gotten picked up by the FBI. She even wore a wire when Agent Stahl threatened to arrest her.

Is there any way that Woz can forgive Harlee for that betrayal?

And what will happen when he realizes that Detective Sapertstein, the man he threw from a building to his death, was innocent all along?

Given Miguel's broken neck, Agent Stahl's obsession with Harlee, (the man did hire prostitutes to dress up like her,) and Wozniak turning himself in, we're sure that things will continue to heat up for Harlee, Woz, and the team on Shades of Blue.
