Shadowhunters: 21 Times Sizzy Sizzled Like Never Before!

Simon and Isabelle are the slow burn that we've all been rooting for. While an eventual romance between them on Shadowhunters is inevitable, the wait definitely has not been easy.
Shadowhunters Season 1 gave us quite a good bit of scenes between the pairing, but unfortunately, their screen time was lacking throughout the rest of the seasons and the show focused on their relationships with other people.
Simon and Izzy have always been good friends and they rely on each other heavily. The end of Shadowhunters Season 3 A showcased their friendship in a way that it never has before, and made us think that we may finally be getting more development between them when the show returns in 2019.

1. When they were looking like a total couple on 1x02 "The Descent Into Hell Isn't Easy"
Izzy taking Simon by the arm was so aesthetically pleasing. They just met and they already look like a couple.
2. When Izzy pulled Simon back on 3x09 "Familia Onte Omnia"
If a vampire is hungry enough they lose complete control. Even though Simon was manipulated and blinded by starvation, Izzy was able to get through to him and save his family.
3. When Rosa thought they were a married couple on 2x12 "You Are Not Your Own"
This was an example of foreshadowing at its finest. These two are meant to be together and everyone, even Raphael's sister, can see it.
4. When they actually were a total couple in an alternate world on 1x10 "This World Inverted"
This episode was everything we could've asked for. Simon and Izzy were a couple in an alternate reality, and Simon was even going to ask her to move in with him. Now we just need this to happen in the real world.
5. When Izzy couldn't stop complimenting Simon on 2x17 "A Dark Reflection"
Being the good friend she is, Izzy tried to convince Maia to give Simon a chance. But the way she couldn't stop boasting about him with a love-stricken expression on her face made us wonder why Izzy wasn't the one going after him.
6. When the flirting began on 1x02 "The Descent Into Hell Isn't Easy"
These two just met and they were already turning on the charm. It's clear they were drawn to each other from the beginning.
7. When Simon cried in Izzy's arms and broke all our hearts on 3x10 "Erchomai"
For the good of his family, Simon is forced to make his mom believe him to be dead. As heartbreaking as this was, it got even worse when Izzy held him and he broke down in her arms.
8. When Izzy watched over the best friend on 1x02 "The Descent Into Hell"
Clary may have had other things to attend to, but it was clear that Izzy didn't mind keeping Simon occupied.
9. When they took a moonlit stroll on 2x12 "You Are Not Your Own"
This scene was all kinds of adorable. After Simon promised to send Izzy all the info on his mom's group, she told him that Rosa was right -- he is a catch.
10. When Izzy went to Simon for advice on 1x12 "Malec"
Like Simon said, there's a first time for everything. Izzy went to Simon for advice on Alec's bachelor party and he was more than happy to help.
11. When Simon was worried about Izzy on 2x17 "A Dark Reflection"
Simon spent the whole day helping Max train, but it seemed like Izzy was the one who needed a break. Simon was clearly worried about her, so he decided to take Izzy and Max on a family outing to the Jade Wolf.
12. When they had an actual meet cute on 1x02 "The Descent Into Hell"
Simon actually had trouble telling Izzy his name and Izzy couldn't stop grinning at him. Could they be any cuter?
13. When Izzy confided in Simon on 2x12 "You Are Not Your Own"
Izzy had been struggling with an addiction to vampire venom and remained pretty closed off about it to almost everyone. However, she was able to open up to Simon about what she was going through and he offered her help in whatever way he could.
14. When they decide to get through Simon's hardships together on 3x09 "Familia Onte Omnia"
Simon and Izzy have always been there for each other and this time was no different. Izzy told Simon what a good man he was and promised to stand with him through what comes next.
15. When we got the Sizzy cheek kiss we were all waiting for on 3x06 "A Window Into an Empty Room"
As usual, Simon was being his sweet self and told Izzy what an awesome daughter she was to her mom. Izzy immediately planted one on his cheek and when he asked what it was for she said, "For being you." And yes that is officially the cutest and purest interaction in the history of television.
16. When Izzy was (not) tired of saving Simon's life on 1x05 "Moo Shu to Go"
Simon may get himself in a love of trouble, but thankfully Izzy is always there to get him out of it. And as much as she denies it, being Simon's knight in shining armor is not her least favorite thing in the world.
17. When they didn't even know they were flirting on 2x07 "How Are Thou Fallen"
It may have been a while since they saw each other, but there was still obvious sparks between them. Sometimes it seems like these two don't even know that they're flirting with each other.
18. When Izzy said Simon was nerd-hot on 1x02 "The Descent Into Hell"
It's clear Izzy likes Simon just the way he is. And let's be real, Simon is one good lookin' vampire.
19. When they were mistaken for a couple 2.0 on 2x17 "A Dark Reflection"
The fact that Simon and Izzy have to keep telling everyone that they're just friends never ceases to amuse us.
20. When Izzy couldn't stop smiling at Simon on 1x12 "Malec"
Everyone knows that Simon is the most adorable dork alive. But Izzy in particular just couldn't stop smiling at his cuteness.
21. When they were partners in crime on 2x12 "You Are Not Your Own"
Raphael wouldn't lay off of Simon and Izzy was just not having it. They decided to be partners in crime for the day and ended up spending some much-needed quality time together.
