Shadowhunters has been canceled after three seasons by Freeform.

Series star Katherine McNamara shared the above statement alongside the following caption: "Hail and farewell, Angels." She subsequently shared a GIF and urged her followers to save the series.

3. Emeraude Toubia

4. Matthew Daddario

"It has been an absolutely wonderful experience getting to be part of Shadowhunters for the past three years," the actor shared.

"After all of it, I hope I have fulfilled my promise of being the best Alec Lightwood you could ask for. Look out for the great work this crew will be doing out of support. I can't thank you enough for the ride."

5. Alisha Wainwright

"I couldn’t agree more @DSwim!," said the actress.

"We still have 10 eps to air and a series finale special to come for you guys. I can’t thank you enough for this journey."
