Star Trek Discovery Season 2: Trailer, Casting Scoop & MORE!!

The Star Trek: Discovery cast and crew took to San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, and they had a lot to share about the sophomore run of the show.

The good thing about the panel was that there was a lot of information revealed, and we've rounded up all of it in the gallery below.

1. First Look at Anson Mount

Mount has been added to the cast as Captain Christopher Pike and the image above is the first look at him in action.

2. Another New Addition to the Cast...

Anson Mount confirmed during the panel that Rebecca Romijn will guest star as the original Number One.

Rebecca took to social media after the news broke with the above photo and the following caption:

"Just call me 'Number One!' Honored to play such an iconic character in #StarTrek Canon originally played by the First Lady of Star Trek, Majel Barrett-Roddeberry! #StarTrekDiscovery"

David Benjamin Tomlinson plays a Saurian named Linus.

5. Wilson Cruz Returns!

Dr. Hugh Culber's fate may have been left up in the air at the close of Season 1, but Wilson Cruz confirmed he will be back for Season 2!

6. How Is THAT Possible?

"We talked about this early on, after Tyler and I had a moment in sickbay," Wilson shared with fans at the convention.

"We knew this was a chapter in a very long story, and in any epic love story, we have ups and downs and bumps in the road. This was just a bump … in my neck. I’ll be back, I won’t be telling you how. We’re still reveling in the fact that this gay love saved the world, the universes, all of the universe. You’re welcome.”
