Still Star-Crossed is a new ABC summer drama that explores the aftermath of the star-crossed lovers' deaths. It is based on the book of the same name by Melinda Taub.

If the Montagues and Capulets weren't friendly before Romeo and Juliet's deaths, why would they be now? They're not and the rivalry is escalating. Both families still want power and are willing to get it at any cost. 

There are more doomed romances and treachery is in full force.

Would we expect anything less from Shondaland?

Livia is Rosaline's sister. She believes that marriage is all she needs to have a happy life, but while she's searching for love, she's gets drawn into a sordid secret she knows nothing about.

Princess Isabella is the sister of Prince Escalus. She wants to help her brother rule Verona but finds that being a woman is an obstacle in her path.

The patriarch of the Capulet family is willing to do whatever is necessary to keep his family at the top.

Lady Capulet wants the same things as her husband, but she's hiding a secret.

He was supposed to wed Juliet but found himself fighting for his life after a fight with Romeo.
