So much has happened already on Supergirl Season 2.
We were introduced to several new characters, Project Cadmus wreaked havoc on our heroes, and almost everyone had a secret to hide.
We're taking a look back at some of the best and worst moments in our mid-season report card. Take a look and let us know your thoughts on the season so far!
Best Mon-El "Fish Out of Water" Moment
Mon-El has been a fantastic addition to the cast, and we're loving watching him adjust to life on Earth. From not knowing how to use the phone at CatCo to his confusion over mating rituals, it's nearly impossible to choose a favorite. But, we're going with him showing up to Thanksgiving with stuffing from his mattress as our winner.
The CW advertised a four night crossover event, but it was really more of a three night event featuring four shows. The thirty seconds at the tail end of Supergirl didn't really count, especially considering the whole scene was replayed on The Flash. If you only tuned into Supergirl because of the crossover, you were probably pretty disappointed.
Best Plot Twist
The mysterious leader of Cadmus was nameless for the first few episodes of the season, and we definitely wondered who she was. Still, we were completely shocked to find out that she was Lillian Luthor, Lena's mother! It set us up for an interesting dynamic between mother and adopted daughter, and we can't wait to see what happens next.
Worst Resolution of a Storyline
When M'gann's blood started changing J'onn into a White Martian, we thought we were in for an interesting story. The build up was great, but the resolution? Not so much. The whole thing was wrapped up with a throw away line from Eliza saying she fixed him, and that was that.
The series moving to the CW meant significantly less Cat, and we have to admit we were very worried about that. However, we don't miss her nearly as much as we thought we would. That doesn't mean we don't miss her at all of course, and we still hope she pops up from time to time, but we're enjoying the series just fine without her every week.
Most "CW" Plot Development
Why does everyone on The CW shows have to be a superhero? Nearly everyone has powers on The Flash now, Arrow is full of vigilantes, and now Supergirl has one too. We love both James and Winn as characters, and their team up has been fun at times, but overall we are just not feeling James as Guardian.
