This vampire drama has shed 30% this season to a 0.42 rating and 0.99 million viewers, but it moved to a new night and time earlier this season and is on the move again. After the season is over, it will have 66 episodes and you can bet your bottom dollar that the syndication gods will save it for at least another season.
This sudsy drama is down 25% to average a 0.30 among people 18-49 and exactly 1 million viewers. It's killed off a lead and isn't making the splash it was on the DVR last year. Mary is also losing her timeslot to The Vampire Diaries in January. Look for the show to conclude in the summer with the final episodes of Season 3.
The only thing this show has going for it is the near universal critical acclaim. The ratings are a meager 0.28 rating among 18-49 and 0.87 million viewers. Add in the fact that no one is watching this show on DVR, then you have the easiest decision for The CW. Cancelled after 18 episodes.
