St. Denis Medical Season 1 has already featured many comedic scenes, but an upcoming installment could be poised to shake things up.
TV Fanatic scored an exclusive sneak peek of St. Denis Medical Season 1 Episode 12, airing Tuesday, February 18, on NBC.
The episode “Buffalo Bruce and Matty the Kid” finds the hospital caught up in a flurry of random events.

One of which finds an emotional support animal running loose in the halls of St. Denis, which we’re sure will lead to plenty of hilarity.
Can you imagine being a patient, high on painkillers, and seeing the staff racing against the clock to find an animal?

It practically writes itself.
St. Denis Medical’s mockumentary-style setup allows for more humor, and Alex is set to take center stage with a storyline that may push her to her limit.
In the exclusive clip, we see her going to the ends of the earth to ensure that Serena has the best surprise party.
Simply put, she doesn’t want to leave anything up to chance to ruin the surprise.

When she’s pulled aside to answer questions from the producer, she bigs up the big event and explains how the pair go to extremes for one another’s birthdays.
But things take a surprising turn when the producer undermines her plans and brands them a “slideshow.”
Alison Tolman Is Fantastic on St. Denis Medical
You can tell Alison Tolman is having a rare time playing Alex. It’s such a 180 from her previous roles, and we can’t wait to see what she brings to the table on St. Denis Medical Season 2.
That’s right, folks.

NBC officially announced last month that St. Denis Medical had been renewed for the 2025-26 season.
Considering the critical acclaim and the strong ratings, a renewal was a no-brainer.
St. Denis broke through in a way many didn’t expect.
Broadcast TV shows have faced more difficulty resonating with viewers because on-air numbers have been slipping for years.

However, St. Denis Medical is also a robust performer on digital platforms, which likely compelled NBC to keep the show.
It’s an all-around decent performer, and those are hard to come by.
Check out the exclusive clip below.
