Alexander Skarsgard

Alexander Skarsgard is a Swedish actor. He has been acting since he was only 7 years old! He joined the military in 1996, and then attended Leeds Metropolitan University in England.
You may know him from his television roles as Marcus Englund in Vita Iogner, Gunner Eklind in Revelations, Sgt. Brad “Iceman” Colbert in Generation Kill, and his current role as Eric Northman in True Blood.
Skarsgard has also appeared in many movies. Some of these are Happy End, Zoolander, Double Shift, Never Be Mine, Kill Your Darlings, Score, Trust Me, 13, Straw Dogs, and is currently filming Battleship.
He says his favorite actor is Gary Oldman and has been named the sexiest man in Sweden five times.
For his performance in True Blood, Alexander Skarsgard has also won the Scream Award for “Best Villain” in 2009, the Satellite Award for “Best Television Ensemble” in 2009, and the Scream Award for “Best Horror Actor” in 2010.
