James Frain

James Frain is from Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. He attended the University of East Anglia where he studied English, Film, and Drama. He also trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. He is probably most known for his role as Thomas Cromwell in The Tudors and Franklin Mott in True Blood.
You might also recognize Jame Frain from his roles in Rasputin: Dark Servant of Destiny, Loch Ness, Hilary and Jackie, Arabian Nights, Where the Heart is, The Count of Monte Cristo, Spartacus, Into the Blue, Tron, and Water for Elephants.
Frain has made guest appearances on 24, Fringe, In Plain Sight, Grey’s Anatomy, Lie to me, Law & Order: SVU, Californication, Leverage, and The Cape. You can also expect to see him on this upcoming season of Burn Notice.
He is currently marries to actress and screenwriter Marta Cunningham, and has two children.
