Sheriff Jody Mills arrives in Hibbing, Montana, for a sheriffs convention.
As part of getting to know other police and in investigating the mysterious deaths, she teams up with Sheriff Donna.
Jody calls Sam and Dean about the deaths, and the two head out wanting to take a break from trying to find out about the Mark of Cain.
The four soon discover that one of the sheriffs is a vampire who is trying to not kill people but his following have found him.
After Sam, Dean, Jody and Donna are captured by the vampires, they are able to escape and kill them.
