DC Universe canceled Swamp Thing, just one week into its run, according to Bloody Disgusting.
The cancellation comes weeks after it was announced that production would be shutting down after 10 of the 13 episodes were produced.
When reports of the slashed episode order surfaced in April, series star, Virginia Madsen took to Instagram to bash the decision in a since-deleted post.
Thanks to the power of the internet, nothing is ever really deleted.
"I'm beyond sad," the actress said in the post.

"What a terrible decision. We have been cut to the core by those who have never set foot into the Swamp," she continued.
"And despite the rule I am going to use the hashtag," she concluded while hashtagging the name of the series.
Despite Warner Bros. allegedly losing faith in the series, the series garnered praise from critics prior to its debut.
In fact, Swamp Thing Season 1 currently has an approval rating of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Swamp Thing stars Crystal Reed as Abby Arcane, a CDC researcher who returns to her hometown to investigate a deadly virus that appears to be linked to a swamp.
Upon her return, she meets up with Alec Holland, a man who knows more about what's going on than many other people in town, but he isn't long for this world.

The biggest concern is that Swamp Thing was DC Universe's third live-action series, so the cancellation this early without waiting on a response from fans to the series does not exactly give confidence to the subscribers of DC Universe.
It will be difficult for the people that liked the premiere to continue with the show without knowing whether the season/series finale will actually include any closure.
It remains to be seen whether Doom Patrol will be renewed for a second season. The streamer's first live-action series, Titans has already been renewed.
The latter does have a lucrative deal with Netflix in territories outside of the U.S., so it's difficult to imagine the sophomore run popping up on DC Universe.
