The CW Summer Schedule: Burden of Proof, The Outpost & More!

It's hard to believe it, but 2018-19 TV season is winding down!

As such, it's time to look ahead to the summer months, and The CW has firmed up its slate, which includes six new series, and five returning ones.

Burden of Truth Season 2 is first out of the gate. The Canadian legal thriller starring Kristen Kreuk will get underway Sunday, June 2.

The Sunday slot is surprising, but the network will likely be testing the waters to assess how original content performs during summer.

On a more surprising note, Supernatural will be the show's lead-out. However, the hit drama series will already have completed airing for the season, so it will be encore episodes.

Does this mean Supernatural could be headed to Sundays during the 2019-20 TV season?

Possibly.

Elsewhere, Masters of Illusion will return for a new season on Friday, June 7, with two original installments.

It will be followed by two episodes of The Big Stage.

Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Whose Line Is It Anyway, meanwhile, will return to the air on Monday, June 17.
