The Mindy Project Season 2 Episode 2 Recap: The Other Dr. L

When Danny breaks up with Christina he begins sneaking out of the office to play basketball with a group of divorced men. Back at the office, Mindy is made to set up her office in a closet because of Paul (James Franco). She wants her old office back, and he old nickname. When the gang goes out for drinks, Mindy challenges Paul to a shot drinking contest. Despite winning, she is left to carry Paul home who passes out when they reach his door. Paul is woken up by Christina and the two end up sleeping together. The next day Paul comes clean to Danny and the two fight. When Jeremy won’t fire Paul, Danny quits and goes to play more basketball. Mindy convinces Danny to come back to work, where they find a message from Paul announcing his departure from the practice.
