The Mindy Project Season 2 Episode 3 Recap: Music Festival

-Mindy runs into several mishaps when she follows Casey to a music festival after he quits his job as a pastor to become a DJ. Morgan eats a pot cupcake and injures himself. Danny misses his favorite band while attending to Morgan’s injuries. To make up for it, Morgan convinces the band to serenade he and Danny’s fake wedding. With the rest of the practice at Casey’s festival, Jeremy is left to cover both Danny and Mindy’s patients. He is forced to enlist the help of Peter Sellers, who had applied for a position earlier in the episode but did not impress the doctors. The young doctor shows surprisingly skill and Jeremy offers him a job on a trial basis. After a successful set, Casey decides his new calling is event planning. Back home he talks about moving to Texas to pursue this plan and Mindy voices her concern. The two end up breaking up.
