The Simpsons Season 23 Episode 21 Recap: Ned ‘N’ Edna’s Blend

An accident at Springfield’s annual passion play sends Ned to the hospital and reveals that he is secretly married to Edna Krabappel. To celebrate the newly wedded couple Marge throws a reception at her home, but Edna and Ned are already fighting by the time the party starts. Ned is upset about the way Edna has begun to introduce Rod and Todd to the non-religious world, including putting them in Springfield Elementary. Although Ned is troubled by their disagreements over what is best for the children, he realizes that all married couples (including the Simpsons) still have trouble deciding the right way to raise kids. The two reunite to work on their marriage.
