With months to go until The Vampire Diaries Season 5 kicks off (on October 10!), The CW has released a few casting notes regarding the opening episode.
Who will we meet when the action shifts from high school to Whitmore University? The following characters, at least two of whom are likely to recur according to SpoilerTV, will be introduced on the premiere:
- Nadia, described by the network as an emotional beauty in her 20s who has traveled around the world on a “mission of vengeance.” (UPDATE: Olga Fonda has landed this role.)
- Jesse, an upperclassman in his mid-20s. (UPDATE: Looks like Jesse will be getting close to Caroline).
- Megan, also in her 20s, hard working and especially intelligent.
This is all a bit vague, of course, but it’s still fun to play the casting game!
